The Banque de France is located in the heart of Paris. It is directly connected to the city’s public transport system and is just a few minutes walk from the metro and train networks.
From the Rue croix des Petits-Champs, it is just 350 metres to reach the metro and then the RER (suburban train). You can easily get to Paris-Charles de Gaulle and Orly Airports in less than 1 hour.

Located in the heart of Paris, the Banque de France is close to some of many famous historical monuments (the Louvre Museum, Opéra Garnier, Palais Royal or Bourse de Commerce).
From Roissy-Charles de Gaulle Airport
- By public transport:
The most common public transport to reach or leave Paris-Charles de Gaulle Airport is the RER B train, which drops you off at “Châtelet-les-Halles” station. The Banque de France is a 10-minute walk away.
- By taxi/car:
The ride takes about 1 hour (25km).
From Orly Airport
- By public transport:
The Orlyval shuttle bus takes you to Paris (“Denfert-Rochereau” station) in 40 minutes. Then you can take the metro 4 or the RER B to “Châtelet-les-Halles” station to get to the Banque de France.
- By taxi/car:
The ride takes about 45 minutes (20km).
